T3 in the Community

Since its start inception in  2002, it has always been the core value of T3 to give back to the local community. We provide for non-profit organizations in SW Florida in many diverse ways that range from donating funds and/or volunteering, to sponsoring local events, to providing communications services to them as a customer.

T3 recognizes that the only way to ensure growth in your local economy is to actively support each other.
We’d like to mention some of the organizations that we have supported over the years and tell a few of their stories:

Southwest Florida Community Foundation

239-333-GIVE has found a new home - 2016 Southwest Florida Community Foundation reached out to T3 Communications to see if we could get them a local number that spelled out “GIVE”. The only number we had fitting the criteria was being used by another T3 customer, Healthcare Coding & Consulting Services. We contacted HCCS and they quickly & graciously agreed to give the “GIVE” the number to Southwest Florida Community Foundation. We then assigned 239-333-GIVE (4483) to them and they use this easily remembered number when reaching out to the community and offering their support. This was a great example of local businesses working together to achieve a greater good!

United Way - 211

2-1-1 is the story that needs to be told - 2016 The United Way 2-1-1 service exists to help people navigate their way through the maze of human and social service agencies by providing the most adequate resources for the client’s situation. This process promotes prevention and self-sufficiency by giving the clients easy access to services they normally would not be aware of. T3 Communications recently provided a new communications system to help United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades County run their 2-1-1 service more efficiently. Through this process we learned a lot about United Way’s 2-1-1 and the good that it provides in our community. It’s not meant to be a secret, so please spread the word! Everyone knows someone who needs help.

Children’s Advocacy of SWFL

When there is a need, you help - 2015 Last year T3 made the decision to forgo sending holiday gifts of appreciation to our customers. T3 instead decided to dedicate that money and give it to a local charity. It wasn’t easy selecting which charity to give to because there are many quality local charities that need community support. One that came to the forefront was Children’s Advocacy of SWFL and their facility in Ft Myers. We were incredibly impressed with the services they provide & the dedication of the staff who work there, because of this we decided to help them reach their goal in 2015 of purchasing a van that was desperately needed. We also donated childrens clothing in various sizes for their clothes closet which gets used when children are displaced.

Early Learning Coalition of Southwest Florida

Early Learning Coalition of Southwest Florida Website The Early Learning Coalition of Southwest Florida as one of the non-profit organizations that we would choose to support in the 2016 Holiday season. One of the primary goals of The Early Learning Coalition of SWFL is to assist in enrolling children in child care and pre-school options where they are safe and can interact with trained staff members who are committed to the continuous quality improvement of the child's education and life. They assist with finding facilities that meet the standards of ELC, through their Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) program which is free of charge to the community. CCR&R assists families in finding early education programs that best meet their needs. All learning begins in early childhood, organizations like the ELC are intent on preparing kids for life. The ELC works with other programs in Southwest Florida like United Way, Childcare of SWFL and the SWFL Community Foundation. Together all of these organizations and many others need the help of businesses to donate and spread the word that help is out there.

ECHO Farms

For the 925 million people who are hungry today, the world is a challenging place, both in the cities and in the countryside. The urban poor face high prices and low incomes, making nutritious food unattainable. Rural families are often malnourished because of a lack of diverse nutrients in their diets, if they have enough to eat at all. In both cases, children suffer the most. The world is a challenging place. Join ECHO and be a part of the solution!
